In the beginning...
...there was a girl who loved to bake!
I started Bon Bon Bakery in the autumn of 2010 to satisfy my need for a creative outlet, and to really stretch those baking muscles again. Bon Bon started out with a Thanksgiving holiday dessert list and a handful of orders. Then came a collaboration with a the Bremerton member-producer store, Fresh Local, and shortly thereafter, in June 2011, I packed Bon Bon into my little truck and headed to the Bremerton Farmer's Market. I haven't looked back! Bon Bon is ever so grateful for all the eager and hungry support from the community.
I worked as a pastry baker for over 10 years in Seattle area bakeries specializing in quality, handmade products--and pitched in on everything from breakfast pastries and bread, to wedding cakes, to managing a wholesale and retail bakery.
I am thrilled to be on my own, creating new recipes, experimenting with flavors, and discovering ways to make treats that are healthy and real.
