2014 was one wacky year for meI While I was on my educational sabbatical in Spain (pastry research!) and at Quillisascut Farm School (baby goat petting!), I missed the markets and I missed all of you. The 2014 rollercoaster ride is over now, and I whole-heartedly welcome 2015. To get off to a great start, Bon Bon will be setting up shop in some new places (see next item) and sharing some great stories and recipes on the Bon Bon Blog. It should be a really fun year. I hope to share it with you!
Bon Bon + Valley Vintage Market = YUM
We're checking out a new venue during the non-Farmer's Market season, so If you haven't been to the Valley Vintage Market yet, February 6 & 7 are the dates to put on your calendar. Bon Bon will be there with all your favorites--buttery shortbreads, delectable cakes and tortes, addictive granola, and more. We'll also be bringing our very special Valentine's Hearts; a delicious treat to share with your sweetheart.
Bon Bon introduced a fabulous new dessert during December holidays: the Chocolate Mole Torte. Mole ("MOE-lay"), the spicy, chile and chocolate concoction made famous in Puebla, Mexico, dates back to Mexico's Spanish colonial period. Bon Bon's Mole torte combines rich chocolate with a little chimayo chile kick, plus the warmth of cinnamon. Rich and decadent, and utterly delicious!
Bon Bon fills special orders by request: Got a hankering for the Luscious Lemon Cake? Need an espresso shortbread fix? Whatever your heart's desire, give me at least a week's notice and you can serve up your favorite Bon Bon for your party or just horde it secretly for yourself; I won't tell. Extra-large, unusual requests require more advance notice. Call and we can discuss!
